SaaSKit is led by Eric Otten, a developer and marketer with a B.S. in Information Technology, a B.S. in Finance, an M.S. in Data Analytics, and an MBA. He has spent the last four years building software products and AI-powered automation.
That mix matters. We don't just write code; we build products aimed at an outcome: more revenue, stronger retention, a better experience for the people who use them. When you work with SaaSKit, you get a partner who thinks about your business, not just your backlog.

Do you build mobile or iOS apps?
Yes. Most of what we build is web apps, since that covers what the majority of businesses need and ships the fastest. When a project genuinely calls for a native iOS app, we build that too. The one catch: it ships under your own Apple Developer account, because Apple's terms require the app to belong to the business that runs it. We've built iOS apps for clients before, and we'll tell you honestly whether yours actually needs one.
Do you work on a performance basis?
Yes. We bill on milestones, not hours. The build is scoped into clear deliverables up front, and every invoice maps to work that's finished and in your hands. You pay for shipped software, never time on a clock.
Do you build internal tools, or only SaaS?
Yes, we build internal tools. SaaS is what we're best known for, but the same engineering applies just as well to software your team uses day to day, or to a tool that powers an existing non-software offer. If a manual process would run better as software, it's in scope.
Who owns the code and the product?
You do, completely. The codebase, the repository, the infrastructure, and the IP are all yours. Nothing is white-labeled and nothing is locked behind a subscription. If we stopped working together tomorrow, you'd keep everything, and any developer could pick it up.
How much does a build cost?
It depends on scope, so we quote per project instead of posting a price. On a call we break the build into milestones, and you'll know what each phase costs before any work starts. No open-ended hourly meter.
How long does it take?
Faster than most people expect, because we develop with AI. The exact timeline depends on scope, but you'll see working software early and often instead of waiting months for one big reveal. We lock the timeline during scoping so you know what ships and when.
Do you handle hosting, deployment, and infrastructure?
Yes, end to end. Hosting, domains, SSL, billing, and a real deployment pipeline, all set up on accounts you own. You walk away with a product running in the real world, not a demo on our machines.
Do you maintain the product after launch?
Yes. Software is never truly finished, so we stay on for fixes, new features, and the next version as you grow. You're not handed a repository and left to figure it out, unless that's exactly what you want.
Can you take over an existing or half-built project?
Yes. We'll audit what you have, tell you straight what's worth keeping, and take it the rest of the way. You don't need to start from scratch to work with us.
What if I only have an idea, not a spec?
That's the usual starting point. A big part of the job is turning a rough idea into a concrete build: the features, the data model, and a clear plan to ship it. You bring the vision, and we make it buildable.
Do you build AI into the product, or just use it to build?
Both. We build with AI to move quickly, and we build AI into the product itself (agents, copilots, automation) wherever it genuinely makes the product better. We won't bolt on AI just to say it's there.
